What personal information Eich collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The law we follow
Eich handles personal data under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and its regulations.
What we collect
Things you give us: your name, email, phone number, delivery addresses, and anything you post, like photos, reviews and comments.
Things we record when you use Eich: your orders, payments, the products you look at and save, and basic device information that keeps your account safe.
Brands and creators also give us business details and documents so we can check who they are.
Why we use it
To run your account, take payments, deliver orders, handle returns, pay brands and creators, keep the platform safe, and show you products you are likely to enjoy.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
Only who needs it to do the job: the brand or creator you bought from (enough to fulfil your order), our delivery riders (your delivery details), payment providers, and services that host our systems. We share data with the authorities only when the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Some records, like orders and payments, we must keep for legal and accounting reasons, but we remove your name and contact details from them.
You can delete your account from the app's settings or from the 'Delete your account' page on this website.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open, and after that only as long as the law or an open order, return or dispute needs it.
